Morris, Joan (Webster) (August 5, 1944 - December 8, 2010)
Joan Morris, age 66, of Hannibal, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at
her home.
Services were held Monday, December 13, 2010 at Northland Baptist Church in Hannibal, Wis., with Rev. Jason Heath officiating.
Joan Elaine was born on August 5, 1944 on the home farm in the Township of
Pershing, the daughter of the late Ernest and Sylvia (Oats) Webster.
She grew up in the area and graduated from Gilman High. Joan married Glen Morris on June 24, 1967 at New Hope Presbyterian Church in Hannibal.
Joan worked for 25 years at Weather Shield in Medford. She enjoyed spending time just visiting with family, especially with her grandchildren and grandnieces and grandnephews. She also enjoyed her flower garden and watching the wildlife that would walk the field and yard.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Glen; her daughter, Judy Morris of
Hannibal; three sons, Bruce Morris of Rockford, Ill., Brent (Julie) Morris of
Antigo and Brian (Katrina) Morris of Curtiss; four grandchildren; Jessica,
Zachary, Benjamin and Ella Morris; and seven brothers and sisters, Roger
(Valerie) Webster of Sheldon, Leland (Sylvia) Webster of Gilman, Rosella (Val)
Mravik of South Milwaukee, Ivan (Effie) Webster, Marvin (Theresa) Webster and
Gordon (Deb) Webster, all of Gilman, and Mary (Joe) Thorgerson of Jump River.
She is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Jason Morris; and brothers, Donald and Stanley.
Gilman Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
