Mayer, Louise E. (Rauchfuss) (November 1, 1914 - April 23, 2010)
Louise E. Mayer, 95, Rib Lake, died Friday, April 23 at Golden LivingCenter in Rib Lake, where she resided the past five years.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 1 at 11 a.m. at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford, with Father Gerard Willger officiating. Cremainal inurnment will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Stetsonville.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time
of the service.
The former Louise Rauchfuss was born November 1, 1914 in Medford to the late
Albert and Julianna (Nuernberger) Rauchfuss. She attended Medford area schools.
She married Frank Mayer and they later divorced. She was a professional
seamstress.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed baseball and
country music.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis (Karen) of San Jose, Calif., and David
(Nancy) of Louisville, Colo.; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Mayer of Brookfield;
seven grandchildren, Josh, Jennifer, Jori, Jesse, Brad, Lauryn and David Jr.
Mayer; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Derald; and a
brother, Clarence.
