Hartwig, Patrick W. (11 May 1944 - 20 Jan. 2002)
MEDFORD - Patrick W. Hartwig, 57, of the town of Little Black, died Jan. 20, 2002, at Meriter Hospital in Madison.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Hemer Funeral Home in Medford. Burial will be in Zion Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Stetsonville.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and again prior to service time Thursday, both at the funeral home.
He was born May 11, 1994, in Bremington, Wash., to George L. and Velma (nee Borden) Hartwig. He married Mary Laabs in 1972 and they were later divorced. He was a truck driver for Peterson Construction of Medford.
Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer (Joel) Houd of Black River Falls; son, Patrick Hartwig Jr. of Black River Falls; three stepdaughters, Donna Tomac of Hartford, Wendy (Todd) McMillen of Naples, Fla., and Katie Tomac of Black River Falls; one stepson, John (Jackie) Tomac of Coloma; his mother, Velma Hartwig of Memorial Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Medford; 13 grandchildren; two sisters, Peggy (Jim) Pagenkopf of Tomahawk and Sarah (Jack) Hill of Wausau; and one brother, Michael Hartwig of Galveston, Texas.
