Denzin, Edward W. (21 July 1911 - 2 Apr. 2001)
MEDFORD - Edward W. Denzin, 89, of Medford, died April 2, 2001, at his home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Medford Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hemer Funeral Home where a joint Parish and Knight of Columbus Prayer Service will be held at 8 p.m.
He was born July 21, 1911, in the Town of Holton in Marathon County to Paul and Theresa (nee Vircks) Denzin. He was a mink rancher, retiring in 1972. He was a charter organizer of Medford Fur Foods.
He is survived by his wife, Anna (nee Robida) Denzin of Medford; son, Dennis (Pamella) Denzin of Mosinee; four grandchildren; his brother, Clarence (Betty) Denzin of Racine, and five sisters, Leona Ellenbecker of Texas, Esther Remus of Wausau, Ruth (Don) Sauter of Wausau, Lucille Pridmore of Milwaukee and Anna (Lawrence) Welbes of Mosinee.
