Schmeiser, Joseph R. (21 Apr. 1942 - 4 Feb. 2001)
MEDFORD - Joseph R. Schmeiser, 58, Medford, was pronounced dead Feb. 4, 2001, at his home in the Town of Medford.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the Hemer Funeral Home where there will be a 6 p.m. Rosary Service.
He was born April 21, 1942, in the Town of Hammel to Otto and Margaret (nee Kleiber) Schmeiser. He was a machinist at Surstrand Corp. in Belvidere, Ill., until a disability forced his retirement and he returned to Medford in 1980.
He is survived by are his daughter, Tammy (Scott) Rhine of Frisco, Texas; two sons, Brian (Kathy) Schmeiser of Curtiss and Bruce (Anita) Schmeiser of Abbotsford; three grandchildren; one brother, Raymond Schmeiser [wife’s name blurry] of Wausau; and four sisters, Mary [last name and spouse’s name blurry] of Wausau, ? of Belvidere, Ill., ? of ? and Lynn [spouse and last name blurry] of Rockford, Ill.
