Vircks, Marlin E. (30 Mar. 1940 - 19 Feb. 2009)

Marlin E. Vircks, 68, of Stetsonville died Thursday, Feb. 19, at his home.

Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Stetsonville. The Rev. James Babler will officiate, and interment is in the church cemetery.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. Tuesday until the services at the church.

Vircks was born March 30, 1940, in Medford to Edward and Lena (Amacher) Vircks. He married Marlene Messmann on Aug. 5, 1961. He owned and operated a dairy farm until the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, Marlene, of Stetsonville; children, Edward Vircks of Stetsonville and Scott (Michelle) Vircks of Grain Valley, Mo., Kelly (Barry) Hartl of Stetsonville, Kathy (Paul) Lieders of Stetsonville, Kimberly (Russell) Sterzinger of Wisconsin Rapids and Karen Vircks of Stetsonville, eight grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
