Schwartz, Clara (Marriage - 26 May 1941)
The marriage of Miss Clara Schwartz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Schwartz, town of Little Black, Taylor County, and Arvid Carlson, town of Mayville, took place Monday morning at ten o’clock at Medford. Justice H. Roeber read the marriage service.
The bride wore a street dress of dark green with black accessories. Her sister, Mrs. Adolph Behnke, Milwaukee was her only attendant. She wore a navy blue street dress with white accessories.
Mr. Behnke attended Mr. Carlson.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. A one o’clock dinner was served to immediate relatives and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Carlson left on a wedding trip through Wisconsin and Minnesota and will return the end of the week. They will live on the groom’s farm near Abbotsford.
Before her marriage, Mrs. Carlson taught school in Taylor County. The past two years she taught the Meadowbrook school, Medford, District No. 7.
