Funeral services were conducted by Rev. F. J. Palaszewski and Rev. K. Krysinski at St. Mary’s Church at Lublin at 10:00 a.m., Feb. 1st for Adolph Burzynski, 53 of Thorp, who died on Jan. 28th, 1950 at the Wis. General Hospital at Madison.
Mr. Burzynski was born in Poland on June 7, 1896 and came to America at the age of 15 years. He resided for a number of years in Texas, Wisconsin and Illinois, and on July 17, 1917 was united in marriage to Celia Oleiniczak at Lublin. They resided in Chicago for two eyars and moved on their present farm in 1919 in the Town of Roosevelt, Taylor Co., which has been his residence ever since.
Mr. Burzynski was active in civic affairs and served as Township supervisor for one year and chairman of the Town of Roosevelt for a number of years.
Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn, three sons, Frank, Florian and Edward of Thorp; three daughters, Mrs. Walter Kotlowski, Medford, Mrs. Wilfred Winger, Lublin, and Mrs. Louis Kotlowski, Stanley; also surviving are one brother, Charles Jurgelewicz of Lublin and one sister in Poland.
Burial was made in St. Mary’s Cemetery at Lublin. Pallbearers were: Martin Penk, Eddie Abramowicz, Rank Zakrzewicz, Walter Bando, Albert Slomka and Louis Stokoss.
