Lindow, Esther E. (14 Sept. 1914 - 3 Feb. 2009)

MEDFORD -- Esther E. Lindow, 94, a town of Chelsea resident, died Feb. 3, 2009, at Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center in Medford.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Whittlesey. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until service time.

Hemer Funeral Service of Medford is assisting the family with arrangements.

Esther was born Sept. 14, 1914, in the town of Chelsea, the daughter of Edwin and Anna (Linzner) Knauth. She was united in marriage to Carl W. Lindow on March 1, 1938. He preceded her in death Feb. 28, 1993.

Carl and Esther dairy farmed in the town of Chelsea until 1975 and remained living on their homestead.

She is survived by a son, Ronald (friend Linda Good) Lindow of Medford; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one stepgreat-granddaughter.
