Whitmore, Mildred (17 July 1915 - 9 Dec. 2008)

MEDFORD -- Mildred "Millie" O. Whitmore, 93, Medford, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008, at Memorial Nursing and Rehab Center, Medford.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford. Cremainal inurnment will take place at a later date in Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery, Medford.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.

Mildred was born July 17, 1915, in Chicago, the daughter of Edward and Elsie Aubert. She was married Nov. 12, 1938, in Crown Point, Ind., to Joseph M. Whitmore. He preceded her in death Sept. 21, 2000.

She retired from F.W. Woolworth's in Chicago. She and Joseph moved to the Medford area in 1977.

She is survived by two sons, Ralph (Durrelle) Whitmore of Medford and Edward (Lori) Whitmore of Grayslake, Ill.; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
