Peche, Gloriette Helen (Thieme) (December 9, 1933 - March 21, 2011)
Gloriette Helen Peche, 77, Rib Lake, died on Monday, March 21 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 26 at 12 p.m. at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rib Lake, with Rev. James Heffner officiating. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Rib Lake. Pallbearers are Christopher and Sean Sarver, and Justin, Joshua, Jordan and Jeremiah Daggett.
Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of
the service.
The former Gloriette Thieme was born on December 9, 1933 in the Town of Chelsea
to the late Arthur and Dorothea (Lissner) Thieme. She attended Buddy Elementary
School and was a 1951 graduate of Rib Lake High School.
On August 4, 1951 at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Town of
Greenwood, she married Raymond F. Peche, who survives. They lived in Rib Lake
for a short period of time, then moved to Cedarburg, then to Friestadt and
eventually to Port Washington where they lived for 36 years. She was employed as
an administrative secretary at the Ozakee Courthouse for 20 years, retiring in
1991. They moved back to Rib Lake in 1997.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughters, Gayle Renk of
Rothschild and Cynthia (Dennis) Daggett of Winterset, Iowa; two brothers,
Clarence and Leroy (Shirley), both of Medford; six grandchildren, Christopher
(fiancée Kelli Bergmann) Sarver and Sean (Jamie) Sarver, both of Rothschild,
Justin (MacKenzie) Daggett, Joshua (Danielle) Daggett and Jeremiah (Katherine)
Dagett, all of Winterset, and Jordan (Krista) Daggett of Des Moines, Iowa; 10
great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason
Daggett in 1978, and a sister-in-law, Suzanne Thieme.
Memorials in her honor may be given to St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.
