Alvin Lester Olson, 84, Arlington, Texas, died on Tuesday, March 8. Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 10 at Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Arlington.

Burial was at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington.

Alvin L. Olson, 84, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011. Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Moore Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow in Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home.

Alvin was preceded in death by previous spouse of 44 years, Delois Olson of Arlington; his parents, Casper Olson and Alma Nelson; brother, Casper Olson Jr.; sisters, Katherine Singleton and Doris Faude, all of Medford, Wis.; sons, Lawrence Brown and J. Anthony Brown; and daughter, Kathy Fogle, all of Arlington.

Survivors: His wife, Vivian Ann Olson; daughter, Vivian D. Klemstein; stepchildren, John Parker and Terry Dyer; brothers, Gene Olson and his wife, Judy, and Edwin Olson of Medford, Wis.; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
