Huebner, Verna A. (Frenzel) (December 10, 1931- June 4, 2011)
Verna A. Huebner, 79, Cedarburg, died on Saturday, June 4 at Columbia St. Mary's in Mequon.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, June 8 at Eernisse Funeral Home in Cedarburg.
Burial was at Zur Ruhe Cemetery in Cedarburg.

Mrs. Verna A. Huebner of Western Road in Cedarburg
passed away Saturday morning, June 4, 2011, at Columbia St. Mary’s Mequon. She
was 79 years old.
Verna was born Dec. 10, 1931, in Medford, the daughter of Edward and Rosalie
(Hoffman) Frenzel.
She graduated from Medford High School. On Sept. 10,
1950, she was united in marriage with Herbert Huebner.
Verna was a member of Advent Lutheran Church in Cedarburg, where she taught
Sunday school for nearly 30 years. She was a hard worker who enjoyed cooking and
baking. Her children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren were her world, and
she will be remembered for always being there for them.
Verna is survived by her husband of 60 years, Herbert; and their six children,
Wally Huebner of Thiensville, Debbie Meeker of Grafton, Sheryl Huebner of
Grafton, Herbie Huebner of Grafton, Russ (Peggy) Huebner of Menomonee Falls and
David (Kim) Huebner of Grafton.
She is further survived by grandchildren, Michelle
(Chad) Kloss, Kimberly Meeker (Dennis), Tasha (Chris) Janssen, Greg Heise,
Regina Huebner, and Nick and Ami Shodeen; six great-grandchildren, brother
Lester “Uncle Orville” Frenzel of Medford, brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins,
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her son, Richard; and daughter-in-law, Christine
Huebner.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8, at Eernisse
Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave. in Cedarburg.
She will be laid to rest at Zur Ruhe Cemetery in
Cedarburg. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday
from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
