Hargot, Rose Ann (Siemek) Malinowski (December 3, 1920 - October 12, 2011)
Rose Ann Hargot, 90, Eau Claire, died on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at Dove Healthcare West.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Oct. 19 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin, with Rev. John Long officiating. Burial was at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery.
Thorp Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Rose Ann Siemek was born on December 3, 1920 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Samuel and Rose (Bedrich) Siemek.
As a young girl, her family moved to the Lublin area, where she was raised and received her education. Rose was united in marriage to Sigmund Malinowski on July 2, 1938 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin. After her husband’s death in 1942, Rose moved to Chicago to work.
She was a real life "Rosie the Riveter" operating a drill press in a factory during World War II. Later, Rose returned to the Eau Claire area and worked as a nurse's aide for many years at the Clairemont.
She had many interests, but especially enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, cooking
and volunteering at Sacred Heart Hospital.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Vi (Tom) Miland of Eau Claire, Stella (Skip)
Auchterlonie of Dover, DE, Rita (Daniel Olson) Hargot of Oregon, WI; one
daughter-in-law: Bea Malinowski of Bloomer, WI; 7 grandchildren: Troy (Julie)
Malinowski, Jeff (Tammy) Malinowski, Mark Malinowski, Kurt (Amber) Malinowski,
Diane (Tom) Ryan, Tori Olson, Niall Olson; 6 great-grandchildren: Cooper
Malinowski, Jacob Malinowski, Adam Malinowski, Sarah Malinowski, Emily Ryan and
Christopher Ryan; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
She was preceded death by her parents; her husband, Sigmund; her only son, Jim
Malinowski in 2003, and all nine of her siblings.
The family would like to thank Dove Healthcare - West 2nd floor staff for all
their wonderful care and support.
