Reschke, Richard "Dick" Charles (June 20, 1931 - October 13, 2011)
Richard "Dick" Charles Reschke, 80, Town of Spirit, died on Thursday, Oct. 13 at Golden LivingCenter in Rib Lake. No services will be held.
Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with
arrangements.
Richard Reschke was born on June 20, 1931 in Geneseo, Ill., to the late Richard
Rudolph and Genevieve (Carlson) Reschke.
On May 4, 1950 at East Moline Baptist Church in East Moline, Ill., he married
Patricia Jane King, who survives. He was involved in the banking industry for 30
years and was co-owner and co-operator with his wife of the Spirit Lake
Campground for five years before selling it to their daughter and son-in-law.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and was a
Bears fan.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a daughter, Robin (Ed) Davis of
Spirit; a brother, Dr. Robert (Wilma) of Naperville, Ill.; a sister, Frances
(Norman) Riffel of Rock Island, Ill.; and two grandchildren, Brett Davis of
Portland, Ore., and Bryan Davis of Rib Lake.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Reschke
in 1959; a son, Timothy in 1987; and a sister, Ruth (Jack) Tarpy.
