Janko, Rudolph (July 8, 1927 - March 10, 2012)
Rudolph Janko, age 84, peacefully passed away at his home on Saturday, March 10, 2012. A long time resident of Medford, he was now residing in Dorchester.
Rudolph was born on July 8, 1927 to Mary and Frank Janko of Chicago, Ill.
He was a graduate of Medford High School. He married Hilda Stumpf, of Medford,
and they had one daughter, Denise. In his early years, Rudolph farmed in rural
Medford and later went to work at Hurd Millwork where he stayed for 30 years.
Rudolph was a faithful lifelong member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses
in Dorchester. Rudolph also taught himself to play the concertina and over the
years loved to play at area nursing homes. He also loved playing golf.
Rudolph is survived by his daughter, Denise Erickson; nephews, Michael and
Steve; and niece, Judy.
Rudolph was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda; his sister, Virginia; and his
brother, Donald.
A private family service will be held for Rudolph Janko.
Flowers or memorials in his name may be sent to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah
Witnesses, 6023 Highway 13, Dorchester, Wis. 54425.
