Webster, Effie I. (Morris) (May 28, 1938 - March 12, 2012)
Effie I. Webster, age 73, of Donald, passed away at her home on Monday, March 12, 2012, with her family by her side.
Effie was born on May 28, 1938 in Hannibal, the daughter of the late Evert and Estel (McDanel) Morris. She grew up in the Hannibal area and attended Hannibal schools. On April 28, 1954, she was united in marriage to Ivan Webster in Decatur, Iowa. They resided in the Donald area and raised their family, with Effie working many years for the Weather Shield Window Company.
Her family meant everything to her. She was a particular housekeeper and a well-known fast pitch softball pitcher.
Effie is survived by her husband, Ivan Webster of Donald; children, Shelli
(Jason) Heath of Pembine, Diane (Larry Ringer) Zink of Sheldon, Gary (Sue Glebke)
Webster of Hannibal, David (Bonnie) Webster of Hawkins; grandchildren, Tony,
Erica, Adam (Amanda) and Casey Webster, Crystal (Kevin) Andres, Jade Zink,
Nicole (Luke) Stewart, Samantha, Trent, Elisha, Micah and Evert Heath;
great-grandchildren, Megan, Nathan, Darian, Maria, Alisha, Mercedes, Ethan,
Gavin, Adriana, Branton and Alivia; sisters, Dora Mae Hendricks of Gilman, Wanda
Dillon of West Virginia; and brother, Glen Morris of Gilman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; precious granddaughter, Stephanie Anne Webster; brothers, Robert and Evert Morris; and sisters, Mary Kloss, Marie Bergant, Betty Webster and one in infancy, Hazel Jean.
Services will be held on Friday, March 16 at 11 a.m. at the Northland Baptist
Church in Hannibal. Burial will follow in the Donald Cemetery. Friends and
family may call on Thursday evening from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church in Hannibal,
and one hour prior to service time on Friday at the church. Plombon Funeral
Service-Gilman is assisting the family.
