Nelson, Tamara "Tammy" Timmers (20 Oct 1960 - 1 Jul 2012)
Tamara "Tammy" Nelson, 51, died on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital
in Marshfield.
She was born on October 20, 1960 in Phillips, the daughter of Matthew and Diana
(Makovsky) Timmers.
She spent her early life in Kennan. She attended Kennan Grade School, then
attended and graduated from Phillips High School, class of 1979.
She was married to John Nelson on August 30, 1986 in Phillips. She was
employed by Phillips Plastics for over 27 years and was currently employed by
Marquip Ward United, both in Phillips.
She was a member of St. Therese of Lesieux Catholic Church where she was active
with religious education classes. In her free time she enjoyed spending time
with her family and her grandchildren who were the light of her life, and she
was often seen walking in the community.
She is survived by her husband, John of Phillips; by three children, Nicole
(Ryan) Sidenbender of Hawkins, and Jared (Keri) and Tyler, all of Phillips; by
three grandchildren, Rylie, Aubrey and Weston; by her parents, Matthew and Diana
Timmers of Medford; by two sisters, Debbie (Dan) Robinson of Spread Eagle and
Deanna (Scott) Hilgart of Park Falls; by two brothers, Todd (Lori) Timmers of
Phillips and Donnie (Heather) Timmers of Medford; by her father and
mother-in-law, Richard and Patricia Gilge of Rib Lake; and many family and
friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, and by
one uncle.
