Ennett, Norman F. (14 Jan. 1935 - 23 June 1998)
Norman F. Ennett, 63, of 2621 3rd St. S., died Tues. evening, June 23, 1998, at Riverview Hospital.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Fri. at Calvary Baptist Church, Wisconsin Rapids. The Revs. David Culver and Jonathan Jenks will officiate. Entombment will be in Forest Hill Mausoleum.
Mr. Ennett was born Jan. 14, 1935, in the town of Sigel, to Fred and Violet (VerHulst) Ennema. He married Phyllis Strohman Dec. 5, 1959, in Marshfield.
He had been employed by Consolidated Papers Inc., in Wisconsin Rapids, for 42 years, retiring Jan. 31, 1997, as a storeroom clerk.
He attended Calvary Baptist Church, and enjoyed woodworking and helping his neighbors.
He served his country in the National Guard from 1955-63 and was stationed in Fort Lewis, Washington, during the Berlin callup.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis; his father, Fred, of Wisconsin Rapids; two sons, Lamonte, of Jacksonville, N.C., and Todd (Patricia), of Wisconsin Rapids; one granddaughter, Emily; two grandsons, Steven and Michael; one brother, Lloyd (Lynda), of Wisconsin Rapids; and two sisters, Joyce (Kenneth) Minch and Sharon Koch, both of Wisconsin Rapids. He was predeceased by his mother.
Friends may call at Taylor Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids, from 4-8 p.m. today, and at the church from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Fri..
