Eilbes, Marie A. (17 June 1903 - 6 Aug. 1989)
Marie A. Eilbes, 86, of 306 S. Concord Ave. died at 7 a.m. Sun. at her residence.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tues. at St. John’s Catholic Church with the Rev. John S. LaPorte officiating. Mrs. Helen Brinkmann will be organist for St. John’s Church Choir. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Charles and Brian Schueller, John, James and Joel Mathews and Daryl Guenther.
Visitation will be at Rembs/Kundinger Chapel at 4 p.m. today and until service time Tues.. A St. John’s Parish Council of Catholic Women rosary service will be at 4 p.m. today, followed by a Catholic Daughters of America rosary service at 6:45 and a parish prayer service at 7, all at the funeral chapel.
She was born June 17, 1903, in Marshfield, to Charles and Lillian Regele. She attended St. John’s Parochial School.
She was married to Carl H. Eilbes June 7, 1927, at St. John’s Catholic Church. He died Dec. 12, 1988.
She lived in Marshfield her entire life. As a young lady, she was engaged in domestic work. She and her husband resided at 306 S. Concord Ave. since 1933. Her husband was an employee of Felker Brothers Corp. for more than 40 years as a foreman.
She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church and the Parish Council of Catholic Women.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Dorothy M. Schueller of Marshfield and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
