Louis E. Klepps, age 95, of 1211 Chestnut St., Wisconsin Rapids, died Mon., Oct. 22, 2007, at Wisconsin Rapids Care Center, Wisconsin Rapids.

Funeral services are 11:30 a.m. Wed. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wisconsin Rapids.

Louis E. Klepps, 95, of 1211 Chestnut St., Wisconsin Rapids, died Mon., Oct. 22, 2007, at Wisconsin Rapids Care Center, Wisconsin Rapids. Funeral services are 11:30 a.m. Wed. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wisconsin Rapids. The Rev. Al Wierzba will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery, Plainfield.

Louis was born Dec. 10, 1911, in the town of Union, Waupaca, to Charles and Anna (Flink) Klepps. He married Elizabeth Dewitt. She died July 9, 2005.

Louis was a mechanic for Ron's Service Station. He was a longtime member of St. Vincent Church. Louis is survived by half-brother, Kenneth Schertz of Bear Creek; brother-in-law, Lawrence Dewitt of Wisconsin Rapids, and sister-in-law, Dorothy Dewitt of Wisconsin Rapids. Louis also is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Louis was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather; an infant daughter; two half-brothers and two half-sisters.

Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Wed. at St. Vincent de Paul Church. Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids is handling all arrangements.

Memorials can be designated to St. Vincent de Paul Foundation.
