Harold G. Ledger, 89, of Marshfield died Sat. April 18, 2009, at the Bethel Center in Arpin.
Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI) is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Harold G. Ledger, 89, of Marshfield died Sat. April 18, 2009, at the Bethel Center in Arpin.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wed., April 22, 2009, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Suzanne Golden will be the organist along with Sacred Heart Church Funeral Choir. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery with Bill, Jim and Tim Braunsky, Rick Grimm, Carl Stoflet and Mark Ledger serving as the pallbearers.
Visitations will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI) and again on Wed. at the church from 10 a.m. until time of the services.
Harold was born in Marshfield on May 16, 1919, to Ervin and Myrtle (Leonhard) Ledger. He attended Wisconsin School of the Deaf in Milwaukee, Delavan and Marshfield Schools. He then worked at Marquette University before moving to southern California in 1955. Harold worked in the food industry for over 25 years, retiring in 1980. Harold bowled in two leagues until he turned 80 years old. Even at that age, he had a bowling average in the 170s. He enjoyed following all sports. He was a member of St. Phillips Catholic Church in Fullerton, Calif.
Harold is survived by his sisters, Catherine Schwane of Milwaukee, Lucille Braunsky of Arpin, Mary (Roger) Ertl of Unity, and Dorothy Ledger of Butler; and one brother, George Ledger of Fullerton, Calif. He is further survived by his sisters-in-law, Mildred Ledger of Lake Forest, Calif., Ursula Ledger of Bismark, N.D., Eva Ledger of Elkhorn and Nancy Ledger of Milwaukee and many nieces and nephews.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, William, James, Leonard and Gerald Ledger and a sister Lorraine Ledger Burkart.
