RACINE - William F. Keppert, 85, Racine, father of Mrs. Harry H. (Shirley) Miller of the town of Rock, died at 12:02 a.m. today at the Racine Community Center of Care, Racine.

RACINE--Memorial services for William F. Keppert, 85, Racine, a former Marshfield area resident, who died at 12:02 a.m. Saturday at the Racine Community Center of Care, will be at 7 p.m. at Second Presbyterian Church, Racine.


He was born Oct. 17, 1905, in the town of Unity, to the late Joseph and Minnie (Wittenberg) Keppert. He received his education in Unity schools. He married Lorraine E. Clark Aug. 8, 1927, in Lindsey.


He was employed as a carpenter and also worked for the Wood County Highway Department until 1943. He and his wife then moved to Racine, and he was employed by the J. I. Case Co. during World War II. He then worked as a carpenter and also built and operated the Mount Pleasant Mobile Home Park until retiring in 1987.


He was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church and served on the Board of Trustees and as an elder.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Harry H. (Shirley) Miller of the town of Rock; one sister, Mrs. Fannie Schultz, a resident of the Marshfield Living Center; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.


He was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers.
