Less Gepner and Burnard McTavish have returned from Dakota.
Miss Minnie Painton assisted Mrs. W. Dix last week with her sewing.
The president of the Lutheran Ladies Aid announces a meeting of the society at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Kohl, Friday, the 23rd. All are cordially invited.
Mrs. Otto Bruhn left here Saturday for Oshkosh and Fond du Lac and Holstein, the latter their old home in Calumet Co., for an indefinite stay. It being about 12 years since she saw the old home.
Mrs. H. Sherman is still very low. Her daughter, Mrs. C. Nelson, arrived here last Saturday from Iola, Wis. Her mother, Mrs. Niles, is constantly by her bedside and her children are all at home at the present time.
Despite the threatening weather there was a good attendance Sunday afternoon at the Town Hall mission and the exercises for Rally day were given. A helpful and inspiring sermon was preached by Rev. Martin. He will be here in two weeks for like services and all are cordially invited.
