Grossman, Mildred Clare (20 Oct. 1914 - 29 Sept. 1994)
WISCONSIN RAPIDS - Mildred Clare Grossman, 79, of 705 N. Wood Ave., Marshfield, formerly of Arpin, died Sept. 29, 1994, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Sat. at Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Wisconsin Rapids.
Visitation will be from 6-8 tonight and from 9-11 a.m. Sat. at the funeral home.
Mildred was born Oct. 20, 1914, in Oconto County, to Richard and Verna Fisher. She was married to Jacob Grossman in June of 1939 and lived in Monico.
She was a housekeeper at Bethel Medical and Rehabilitation Center and Marshfield Convalescent Center. She also was a 4-H leader for 10 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Virginia (Wayne) Brock of Vesper, one son, Robert (Marlene) Grossman of Arpin; three sisters, Marie Fenney of Oconto County, Melba Hynes of Janesville and Beatrice (Jamie) Moore of Illinois; one brother, Richard Kelm of Janesville; and 14 grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, one son, Paul, and two brothers, Omar and Robert.
