Mrs. George (Katherine B.) Wellner, 82, of 809 S. Peach Ave., died at 6:55 a.m. Sun. at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She had been admitted there Fri..

A concelebrated Mass of the Resurrection will be at 11 a.m. Wed. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. Peter J. Leketas and a nephew, the Rev. John W. Steiner, associate pastor of St. Thomas More Church, La Crosse, will be celebrants. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Maldon L. Plank will be organist and pallbearers will be nephews of Mrs. Wellner.

Friends may call beginning at 2 p.m. Tues. and until services Wed. at Rembs/Kundinger Chapel. Sacred Heart Christian Mothers Society rosary, combined with Missionary Society rosary, will be at 3 p.m. Tues.. A parish rosary will be at 8:15 p.m. Tues..

Mrs. Wellner, the former Katherine B. Kohlbeck, was born to Mr. and Mrs. John (Katherine Felber) Kohlbeck Nov. 23, 1896, in the town of Marshfield. She attended St. Joseph’s Parochial School in Hewitt.

She did domestic work in Marshfield prior to her marriage to George Wellner March 3, 1919 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Hewitt. She had lived in Marshfield most of her life. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Christian Mothers Society and Missionary Society.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Clarence K. (Carol) Kliner of Marshfield; two brothers, Louis and Peter Kohlbeck, both of Marshfield; seven sisters, Mrs. Rose Wellner, Mrs. Caroline Fehrenbach and Mrs. Sophie Steiner, all of Marshfield; Mrs. Clara Anderson of Chicago, Mrs. Elizabeth Wallin of Skokie, Ill., Mrs. Frances Wagner of Wilmette, Ill., and Mrs. David (Gertrude) Hill of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and three grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister are deceased.
