McClelland, Hazel J. (21 Oct. 1905 - 25 Mar. 1979)

VESPER - Services will be at 2 p.m. Tues. at Church of the Nazarene, Marshfield, for Mrs. Hazel J. McClelland, 75, Route 1, Vesper, who died at 2:55 a.m. Sun. at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

The Rev. Gene Stodola will officiate. Hansen Funeral Home of Marshfield is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. McClelland, the former Hazel Haugen, was born Oct. 21, 1905 in Plano, Ill., and was married in 1924 to Homer Heath who died in 1950. Her second marriage was to Lester McClelland in 1954; he survives.

She lived in Elkhorn from 1966 until 1978 when she moved to the town of Hansen in the Vesper area.

Surviving children from the first marriage are three daughters, Mrs. Obe (Virginia) Cory, Leadore, Idaho; Mrs. Marilyn Grair, Blenker; and Mrs. Rodger (Judith) Van Wyke, Route 1, Vesper. Two daughters are deceased.

There are 10 grandchildren and two brothers, Leonard Haugen of Chicago and Edward Haugen, Fort Wayne, Ind. Besides her husband and daughters, she also was predeceased by another brother.
