Robinson, Robert James (10 May 1936 - 6 May 2002)
PHILLIPS -- Robert James Robinson, 65, Phillips, Town of Worcester, died at his home on Mon., May 6, 2002.
He was born in Arpin on May 10, 1936, the son of Raymond and Arlie Robinson. He was a graduate of the Marshfield High School and of the North Central Technical School in Wausau. He was married to Lynette Alexander in Marion on Oct. 24, 1987. He was employed as an Engineer by Wisconsin Power and Light of Marion, until the time of his retirement in 1992. He was a member of the Methodist Church, was active in the Marion Lions Club, served as a Boy Scout Leader, and was a member and Past President of the Mussel Lake Association. He and Lynette moved to Phillips in 1992 at the time of his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Lynette; his mother, Arlie Robinson, Wisconsin Rapids; five children, Robert Jr. (Laura), Three Lakes, Lynn (Dr. Kenneth) Brittingham, Madison, Lori (Damon Archie) Robinson, Wausau, Raymond (Kris), Marion, and James, Stratford, Ariz.; two stepchildren, DeAnna Ward, Shiocton, and Scott (Kerri) Ward, Delevan; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Arla Beyer, Wisconsin Rapids. He was preceded in death by one infant brother, and his father.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. on Fri., May 10, at the Heindl Funeral Home in Phillips, with the Rev. Avon Raczkowski officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:30 p.m. on Fri. until the time of services. Interment services will be held at the Arpin Cemetery in Arpin at 1 p.m. on Sat. May 11, with Pastor Gary Albert officiating.
The Heindl Funeral Home in Phillips is in charge of the arrangements.
