Draxler, Maxine M. (16 Feb. 1927 - 11 Jan. 2004)

PARK FALLS -- Maxine M. Draxler, age 76, of Park Falls, died Sun.January 11, 2004 at Flambeau Hospital in Park Falls. She was born on February 16, 1927 in Marshfield, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Dishinger) Busche. She was a graduate of the Fifield High School. On February 21, 1948 she married Wallace Draxler in Park Falls. Mrs. Draxler was a member of St. Anthony's Christian Women, was a homemaker, and enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading, and crossword puzzles. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her family.

She is survived by her husband Wallace, of Park Falls; five children: Jan (George) Munagian of Wisconsin Rapids, Raymond (Colleen) Draxler of Frederic, Donna (Craig) Bichanich of Prairie du Sac, Richard (Cheryl) Draxler of Oshkosh, Connie Draxler of Anaheim, Calif.; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; a sister Leona Paulson of Minneapolis, Minn.; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Donald and Frank Busche. Funeral services will be held on Thur. January 15, at 10:30 a.m. from St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Park Falls. Father James Jackson will officiate.

Burial will follow at Nola Cemetery in Park Falls.

A visitation will be held at the Novitzke Funeral Home in Park Falls on Wed. from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a Parish Prayer Vigil at 6:30 p.m.
