Zimmerman, Darlene (8 June 1945 - 30 Mar. 2005)

Darlene Zimmerman, age 59, of 11517 Butternut Lake Road, Butternut, passed away Wed., March 30, 2005 at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

Darleen was born June 8, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Louis and Irene (Prinzkin) Karalunas. She was a homemaker and secretary in the health care field and also worked for the YMCA.

Survivors include her husband John, of Butternut; daughter Debra Ann Solaka of Warren, Mich.; two granddaughters, Chelcia and Amanda; her brother, Robert (Donna) Karalunas of Warren, Mich. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 2 p.m. on Sat. April 2, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Butternut with Father James Jackson as celebrant.

The Mountain Funeral Home of Ashland and Mellen is assisting the family with arrangements.
