Lylah L. Seehafer, 85, Marshfield, died Jan. 6, 1996 at Bethel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in the town of Richfield.
Rembs/Kundinger Funeral Chapel is handling arrangements.

Lylah L. Seehafer, 85, Marshfield died at 5 p.m. Jan. 6, 1996 at Bethel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in the town of Richfield. She had been a resident of the nursing center since Nov. 15, 1991.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wed. at Rembs/Kindinger Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Rick W. Biedermann; pastor of Faith Lutheran Church in Marshfield, will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Lutheran Cemetery in Nasonville. Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from noon until service time Wed. at the funeral chapel.
Mrs. Seehafer was born Oct. 19, 1910 in Tyler, Minn., to Alex and Lettie (Mylenback) Tjaden. She was married to Edward A. Seehafer on Sept. 3, 1938, at Zion Lutheran Church in the town of Fremont, Clark County.
She attended elementary schools in Clark County and was a 1929 graduate of Granton High School. She moved with her parents to Clark County when she was a child.
After her marriage, she resided in Marshfield, working here until her retirement. She continued to live in Marshfield until entering the nursing center.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail Seehafer of Milwaukee; three step sisters, Irlene Wagner of Marshfield, Velda (Arthur) Behnke of Loyal, and Lila (Karl) Brookes of Neillsville; her twin sister, Lillian Hankey of Milwaukee; and her brother, George (Marge) Tjaden of Hendericks, Minn.
She was predeceased by her husband on Oct. 3, 1985; and by her parents.
