Schuler, Mary (1839 - Mar. 1922)
Mrs. Mary Schuler passed away at her home on the Northside last week Fri. afternoon. She was 82 years old. The funeral was held from St. John’s Catholic church Tues. morning.
Deceased was born in Wittenberg, Germany, in 1839 and came to this country with two sisters and a brother when she was 26 years old. She lived in New Your City about a year, after which she cane to Kiel, Manitowoc County, where she made her home 20 years. Then she went to Sheboygan and after residing there five years moved to this city which was about 25 years ago.
She is survived by five children who are Miss Jennie Schuler of Chicago, Mrs. Fred Bastian of Kaukauna, George Schuler and Mrs. Peter Baer of Marshfield and John Stoeber of Milwaukee. She also leaves one sister who lives in Iowa.
Besides belonging to St. John’s Catholic church she was a member of the Third Order and the Altar Society of that church.
