Miss Nancy Marie Sullivan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Sullivan, 260 12th
Ave. S., today became the bride of Randolph Louis Facklam, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Randolph W. Facklam, 130 10th St. N. The double ring ceremony was read by the
Rev. Thomas Rudolph of St. Lawrence parish at 10:30 this morning.
Of white satin brocade, the bride's ballerina length gown featured a bustle
back, caught up with a mod.... bow. A shoulder veil was secured to a matching
pillbox hat. She carried a crescent bouquet of pink roses and white carnations.
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Meyer, Huntington Park, NY, were the official witnesses.
Mrs. Meyer serving as matron of honor for her sister with Miss Rita Van De Loop
as bridesmaid. Ronald Glebke and William Brazeau attended the groom as best man
and groomsman.
Mrs. Meyer and Mill Van De Loop wore cotillion blue sheaths with overskirts
attached to wide cummerbunds. Headpieces in the dress color held short nose
veils. Crescent bouquets were similar to the bride's.
The wedding dinner was served at the Paper Inn of the YMCA, Port Edwards, where
the reception is being held.
Mr. Facklam is employed by Rapids Sheet Metal and his bride by Household Finance
Corporation. After a wedding trip to the southern part of the stte they will
take up residence at 331 1/2 11th St. S.
Prior to the wedding the former Miss Sullivan was honored at three showers. One
miscellaneous shower was given by the Misses Anne Edwards and Gerry Heniges and
one by Mrs. Phil Nobles, Mrs. Ronald Meyer, Mrs. John Benbow and Miss Margaret
Casey. Mrs. Martin Gadow was hostess at a linen shower.
The rehearsal dinner was given Friday evening by the groom's parents.
