Roberts, John H. (5 Apr. 1921 - 19 Feb. 2009)
John H. Roberts passed away at the Palliative Care Unit of Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield on Feb. 19, 2009.
He was born on April 5, 1921, in St. Paul, Minn., the son of E.J. and Jessie (Wolfe) Roberts. He was united in marriage to Dorothy J. King, the daughter of C. Arthur and Eva King of Mankato, Minn., on June 6, 1944, in Mankato, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brother and sister-in-law.
He is survived by sons, Steve (Barbara) of Neillsville and David of Newport, Ore.; a daughter, Nancy (Tom) Potter of Waunakee; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Feb. 28 at the United Church of Christ, Neillsville.
