David W. Ayers, 58, of Marshfield died Sat. Feb. 14, 2009, at his home.

Arrangements are pending at Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI), Marshfield.

David W. Ayers, 58, Marshfield, died Sat. Feb. 14, 2009, at his home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Fri. at Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI). Burial will take place in Hillside Cemetery. The visitation will be Fri. from 1 p.m. until service time at Rembs' Funeral Home (300 S. Oak Ave. - Marshfield, WI).

David was born Feb. 22, 1950, in Fort Wayne, Ind., the son of Oscar and Mary (May) Ayers. He had been employed as a welder.

He is survived by four children, Robert (Tracy) Ayers of Washington, D.C., Christy Rychtik of Abbotsford, Paul Ayers of Flowermound, Texas, and Jill Hawkinson of Flowermound, Texas; 11 grandchildren; his mother and stepfather, Mary and Robert Doane of Indianapolis; and two sisters, Dawn Roach and Sandy (Michael) Hockaday, all of Fort Wayne, Ind.
