Mitchell, Margaret Ellen (5 Sept. 1944 - 25 Jan. 2009)

Margaret Ellen Mitchell, 64, of Marshfield, died Sun. Jan. 25, 2009, at Saint Joseph's Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Fri., Jan. 30, 2009, at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, Marshfield.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Fri. at the funeral home. Private family committal will be held at a later date.

Marge was born Sept. 5, 1944, in Illinois, the daughter of John and Lucille (Himsel) Bockholt. She was united in marriage to Steve Mitchell and was employed as a maintenance worker at Marshfield Care Center prior to her retirement in 2001.

Marge is survived by her husband, Steve; two daughters, Julie (Bryan) Rasmussen and Amy (Joe) Rogers; two stepchildren, Stephanie (Michael) Pflager and Rebecca Mitchell; four grandchildren, seven stepgrandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren. She further is survived by siblings Elaine (Frank) Ulrich, Don (Mary) Bockholt, Jim Bockholt and Donna (Gary) Kelley.
