Stewart, Katherine M. (2 Aug. 1917 - 20 Jan. 2009)

Katherine M. Stewart, 91, of Wisconsin Rapids died Tues., Jan. 20, 2009, at the Renaissance.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Fri., Jan. 23, 2009, at Wisconsin Rapids Moravian Church. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Pittsville.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thur., Jan. 22, at Buchanan Funeral Home and again from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Fri. at the church.

Katherine was born Aug. 2, 1917, at Veedum to the late Andrew and Alida (Johnson) Saren. She married Charles Stewart on Jan. 24, 1941, at Waukon, Iowa.

Katherine was a homemaker and was employed for 20 years as a baker for Pittsville school cafeteria.

She is survived by three sons, Michael (Trudy) Stewart of Pittsville, Victor Stewart of Wisconsin Rapids, Roger (Kay) Stewart of Onalaska; six grandchildren, 2 stepgrandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Buchanan Funeral Home is assisting Katherine's family with arrangements.
