Your correspondent was informed that Mrs. Jessie Peterson, eldest daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Muir died last Saturday at her home near Elroy and was
buried there last Monday, her parents and brothers here attending.

Last Saturday evening a telegram was received from Warrens, Monroe county
announcing the death of Mrs. Jessie Peterson, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Thomas Muir of Nasonville. The day before her mother and her sister, Mrs. Porter
started to see her. Last Sunday, Thomas Muir, his four boys and daughter took
the 11 o'clock train at Chili for Warrens in order to be there for the funeral
which took place Monday. Mrs. Peterson was 37 years old and had been married 12
years. She leaves a husband and three children to mourn her death. The children
are 8, 4 and 2 years old. The neighbors and friends sympathize with the bereaved
family.
