—Geo, II. Smith of Sherry and Edward Lynch of Grand Rapids came up Tuesday to attend the hardwood meeting that did not meet. Mr. Lynch informed us that he is logging this winter and has about 800,000 now on the skids. He owns a large tract of timber land in the town of Milladore on which he built a mill this summer and which will commence sawing this week.
