Hoefner, Minnie (8 Oct. 1886 - 18 June 1953)
Mrs. Fred Hoefner, 66, route 3, died Thur. night at 9:15 at her home after an illness of three months.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Mon. at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. Alvin O. Pinke officiating and burial will be made in Hillside Cemetery. Beginning Sun. the body will repose at the Hansen Funeral Home and at noon Mon. it will be taken to the church.
Mrs. Hoefner, nee Minnie Brehm, was born Oct. 8, 1886, in Manitowoc county and was married to Fred Hoefner at Manitowoc May 2, 1908.
She lived in Nebraska from 1886 to 1899 and then returned with her parents to Sheboygan County where she received her education and lived 10 years before moving to Manitowoc county. She lived there until coming to the Town of Lincoln in 1922 and had been a resident here ever since.
She was a member of St. Matthew’s Church.
Surviving are her husband, two sons, Lester, Marshfield, and Harold, Blue River, Ore., and four granddaughters. Two sisters preceded her in death.
*** Note: The correct spelling of her maiden name is Prehn.
