Obituary
Mrs. Richard Kusa, nee Hulda Olivia Swenson, who died at her home in this city February 8th, was born in Dane County, near Madison, December 23rd, 1888. She was of Nolrwegian parentage. On June 25th, 1907, in this city she was united in marriage to Richard Kusa of the town of Cameron. About ten months of sickness, during which she was a great sufferer, brought her likfe to a close. Last July she had an operation and was hopeful that it might relieve her but her sickness was of such a nature that nothing that medical skill or careful nursing could do brought the hoped for relief. On Saturday of last week another operation was deemed necessary but her weakened condition failed to stand the shock and on the afternoon of the same day she passed away. She is mourned by her husband, a little daughter, Gladys, a father, mother, four sisters and two brothers. She belonged to the F. R. A. of this city and was one of its most faithful members. She also belonged to the Richfield Ladies Aid. During her sickness she was often visited by Rev. Anderson and family whose ministration of love helped her to bear with patience her suffering. Her religious life led her toward the Methodist church and it was in her mind to unite with it should she recover. She is at rest, her suffering is over and the great Father of us all has her in His care. The funeral was held Tuesday from the M. E. church, Rev. A. J. Coram officiating.
Among the relatives from out of town who attended were the father and brother of the deceased, Herman Swenson and son Arthur of Rib Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Swenson of Madison.
