College Notes (Spring Semester Honors - 2019)
UW-Platteville has announced its dean’s list, honoring those full-time
students who earned high honors in their respective colleges in the spring
2019 semester.
The College of Business, Industry, Life Science and Agriculture and the
College of Liberal Arts and Education require GPAs of 3.75 and above for
dean’s list honors; while the College of Engineering, Mathematics and
Science requires students to reach at least a 3.5.
Students from this area on the dean’s list include:
Chili: Maddison Clemens and Tyler Prust; Granton: Cassondra Bandt; Loyal:
Brandon Timmler; Thorp: Paige Mertens and Kaleb Windl; Withee: Julie
Benzschawel.

Minnesota State College Southeast in Red Wing and Winona, Minnesota, has
announced its president’s list for spring semester 2019. To be eligible for
the list, students must complete a minimum of 12 credits at MSC Southeast
during an academic term and achieve a GPA of 3.5 or above.
Holly Gabbert of Withee was named to the list.

Rosa Rarick, from Loyal, was named to the spring dean’s list in the College
of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Iowa State University. The dean’s list
honors students who were enrolled in 12 credit hours and earned a 3.5 GPA
for the term.

Amy Elizabeth Melvin of Neillsville was named to the dean’s honor roll at
Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas the for the spring 2019 semester.
Melvin is a junior majoring in psychology.
The dean’s honor roll includes undergraduate students only. To be eligible,
students must have completed 12 or more credit hours and have a minimum GPA
of 3.6 for the semester. Full-time on-campus and virtual college students
are eligible.

UW-Oshkosh officials have announced the name of students who qualified for
the university’s dean’s list and honor roll in spring 2019. To qualify for
the honor roll on the UW-Oshkosh campus, a student must take at least 12
credits and earn a GPA of at least 3.3 (out of a possible 4.0). Those with a
GPA of 3.75 or better qualify for the dean’s list.
From Dorchester: Bailey Krause made the honor roll; From Granton: Margaret
Denowski, was named to the dean’s list. Trisha Naedler and Jill Richmond
received honor roll recognition.
From Greenwood: Haley Gardner made the dean’s list; From Loyal: Alexis
Dietsche and Karsyn Rueth were named to the dean’s list, while Sierra Koski
and Ryleigh Wilke, made the honor roll: From Owen: Derek Larson made the
dean’s list.

The following individuals from the area have been named to the dean’s list
at UW-Milwaukee for the spring 2019 semester. The dean’s list recognizes
full-time undergraduate students who have earned a 3.5 GPA or higher.
Devin Toburen of Greenwood and Stefanie Marvin of Withee were named to the
list.

St. Olaf College has announced its dean’s list for the spring 2019 semester.
The dean’s list recognizes students with a semester GPA of 3.75 or higher on
a 4-point scale.
Loyal High School graduate Ben Zimmerman was named to the list. Zimmerman is
a biology major and the son of Daniel and Margaret Zimmerman.
