Barbara was born March 18, 1922, in the town of Day to John and Anna (Brausch) Bangart. She attended McKinley School in the town of Day. She and Richard L. Spindler were united in marriage June 23, 1951, at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Rozellville.
Prior to her marriage, she worked at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield and also a hospital in Milwaukee. Bobbie took great pride in becoming a farm wife, farm work was not foreign to her. She worked very hard and played twice as hard. She canned several hundred quarts of vegetables each season and made the best homemade bread. Her hobbies included bowling, playing cards and spoiling her grandchildren. Bobbie loved to have fun and always enjoyed a good prank. She had a heart as big as she was. Faith was a major part of her make up and she was kind to everyone she met. God has called a great person back home. We so much appreciate all the time He gifted her to us.
She is survived by her husband, Richard of Stevens Point; daughter Renee (Duane) Kirsch of Stevens Point; and two sons, Keith (Roxanne) Spindler of Rozellville and Troy (Pam) Spindler of Mansfield, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Sonja (Troy) Knetter, Logan Spindler, Kobey (Trine) Spindler, Cassie Spindler, Jeremy and Nicole Kirsch, Graham Spindler, Nathan (Jamie) Moore and Tanille Spindler; and two great-grandsons Aaron and Brandon Knetter.
She is further survived by four sisters, Christina Heier of Milwaukee, Clara Lenhard of Marshfield, Mutzie (Gene) Seidl of Hewitt and Mary Ann Condon of Wauwatosa.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter Mary Beth; three sons, Dean, Scott and Todd Spindler; a grandson, Adam Willcome; five brothers, Andy, Tony, Ernie, Eddie and Teddy Bangart; and three sisters, Marie Kloos, Katie Denk and Helen Mader.
