Clouse, Harriet B. (1892? – 13 OCT 1975)
Mrs. Harriet B. Clouse, 83, of 504 Fairmont, Amarillo, Texas, formerly of
Granton (Clark Co., Wis.) and Loyal area, died on Monday, October 13, 1975.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 15, 1975 at Beautiful
Savior Lutheran Church,, with the Rev. David O. Heidtke, pastor,
officiating. Burial was made in Llano Cemetery.
Mrs. Clouse was born in Granton, Wisconsin, and had been a resident of
Amarillo for 27 years. She was a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.
Survivors include the widower, Ira; two sons, Bob Berg of Amarillo and
Bernard Clouse of Loyal; five daughters, Mrs. John Haesle of Pampa; Mrs.
Ruby Rupp of Sebeka, Minnesota; Mrs. Harry Reigel of Sun Prairie; Mrs. Louis
Weaver of Pontiac, Illinois; and Miss Mary Clouse of Colby; two sisters,
Mrs. Vera Kidd of Castro Valley, California and Mrs. John Salzer of Wausau;
20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Arthur Berg, her first husband, preceded her in death. She was married to
Ira Clouse in 1945, who survives.

Clouse, Harriet (Hattie) (? – 12 October 1975)
Relatives have received word concerning the death of a Town of York native,
Mrs. Ira Clouse of Amarillo, Tx., the former Hattie Pietenpol Berg. A
daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Pietenpol. Mrs. Clouse succumbed
Sunday night to a lingering illness. She was in her early 80’s.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. John (Marie)
Hasle, of Pampa, Tx.; a son, Robert Berg of Amarillo; two sisters, Mrs. John
(Beatrice) Salzer of Wausau and Mrs. Vera Kidd of Castro Valley, Ca.; and
seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was a sister to the
late Floyd Pietenpol of Granton.
Funeral services were held in Amarillo.
