Allen, Mr. and Mrs. Carl (63rd - 1980)
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Allen, well known residents of the Neillsville area,
celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary on Friday, August 15. The couple
was married in 1927 at the city hall in Neillsville by Judge Oscar
Schoengarth. Attendants were (blurred name, and August Swanson?)
Following their marriage, they farmed in the Sidney area and then moved to
Chicago for ?? years. About (?) they retired and moved back to Neillsville.
They have resided on Grand Avenue since.
The couple love gardening among their hobbies, while Mrs. Allen enjoys
cooking. Carl especially enjoys eating good food.
For their anniversary celebration, the Allens’ attended a special dinner
with their friends and neighbors.
