The County Farm Cheese Factory owned by Wenzel Sipple was completely
destroyed by fire last week Wednesday morning at about 2 o'clock. The first,
which had its origin under the floor between the factory part and the store
room was not discovered until it was beyond control. It spread so rapidly
that practically none of the household goods could be saved, but all of the
cheese in the store room, amounting to about $600 was carried to safety
through the heroic efforts of Mr. Sipple and family.
The loss will amount to more than $6,000, with $4,000 insurance in the Lynn
Mutual Fire Insurance Company.
The origin of the fire is unknown, but it is supposed that spontaneous
combustion was the cause. The victory will be rebuilt as soon as possible
