The Custom Lumber Company's sawmill was completely destroyed by fire last
Friday night at about eleven o'clock. The origin of the first is unknown and
had gained such headway by the time the fire company got there, there was no
chance to save it. Several hundred dollars' worth of lumber that was piled
in the mill also was burned. A large amount of lumber belonging to Harry
Demank, which was piled near the mill, was on fire several times, but was
save. No insurance was carried, so the damage is a complete loss.
