Hills, Oliver (1841? – May 1917)
The news came a few days ago of the death of Mr. Oliver Hills, which
occurred at his home at Sparks, Oklahoma, after an illness of three weeks,
aged 75 years. Mr. Hills one of the pioneers of this vicinity and gave the
village the name of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.).
Mr. and Mrs. Hills were her last summer for a visit, and while here
celebrated their golden wedding anniversary, which occurred on July 4th,
1916, and as he seemed in usual health then, the news of his death comes
unexpectedly to the relatives and friends here.
