In the severe electrical storm which visited the vicinity Saturday night,
the barn owned by Fred Raeck in Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), was struck by
lightning and burned to the ground, together with two horses, some calves
and a quantity of hay. We did not learn if Mr. Raeck had insurance on the
barn or not, but it is quite a loss anyway.
