Reis, Deborah Ann (Marriage - ? June 1975)
A home on Rt. 1, Unity, awaited Mr. and Mrs. Donald James Esselman, who
exchanged marriage vows at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal before the
Rev. Chester Osowski. A reception honoring the couple was held at the Loyal
American Legion Hall.
The bride, the former Miss Deborah Ann Reis, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Richard Reis, Sr., of Rt.1 Unity. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Esselman, Rt. 1
Greenwood, are the groom’s parents.
Miss Julie Caskey, Colby, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jill
Caskey, Colby, Sharon Bauer, Greenwood and Janie Holtzheimer, Loyal.
Serving as bestman was Michael Esselman, Camp Douglas. Michael Schreiner,
Loyal, Ken Volovsek, Willard, and Micheal Sheets, Curtiss, acted as
groomsmen. Ushers were jerry Nikolai an Bruce Trampush.
Patrick Reis was the ringbearer, and Emma Jo Reis and Mary Ann Reis, were
the flower girls.
Soloist at the ceremony was Cincy Oblack. Darla Gardner was the organist.
The new Mrs. Esselman, a resident of Pennsylvania until 1972, graduated from
Loyal High School in 1974, as did her husband. He also attended District One
Technical Institute-Eau Claire for a year, studying diesel mechanics.
Presently, he is employed by a Marshfield home building firm.
